Seine nets are usually long flat nets like a fence that are used to encircle an area of water.
Will there be frogs, fish, mussels, or crayfish?
- Saturday, October 2 – “Seeds of the Prairie”
We will learn how to harvest, clean, and sow native seeds at Flint Creek Savanna. Take part in this very
important part of prairie restoration.
- Saturday, November 6 – “Meet Your Local Raptors”
Flint Creek Wildlife Rehabilitation will bring and teach us about our local raptors at the Barrington
Hill Riding Center. Volunteers from Friends of Spring Creek along with Citizens for Conservation will
aid children in making holiday nature gifts.
