Workday - Brush Cutting (9 - 11 a.m.) Join us as we work to restore local woodlands, wetlands and prairies as high-quality habitats for wildlife. At this workday, we will be cutting invasive brushy plants and stacking them into piles for later burning. This activity is appropriate for teenagers and adults. Groups are welcome with prior notice. No experience is necessary. Meet at the CFC office at 459 W. Highway 22 in Lake Barrington. Look for the white farmhouse across from Good Shepherd Hospital. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes or boots, and bring work gloves.
