2022 Membership Drive

If you are already a CFC member, we very much appreciate your historical support.  We remain steadfast in our goal to preserve and restore natural areas to protect vital habitat to improve our local environment.  We count on members like you to support these efforts, both financially and through volunteering.  We need your continuing help! Please Click Here to renew your membership for 2022.

If you are currently not a member, please give serious thought to joining one of the premier conservation organizations in the country.  As a member, you will be helping to support CFC’s now over 50 years of efforts in Saving Living Space for Living Things.  CFC’s land holdings now total almost 500 acres and we are constantly looking to expand our footprint.  Our objective is to create unbroken, linked habitat corridors in order to increase biodiversity and to strengthen ecosystems to deliver environmental benefits to our community. The linked land will support the natural migration of other birds, insects, amphibians and native plants. As these ecosystems mature, their capacity expands to improve air and soil quality, to help control erosion and flooding, to improve both groundwater and surface water quality, to reduce surface air temperatures and to expand the land’s carbon storage and processing capacity—all of which serves to reduce the impact of climate change.

In addition to its environmental impact, this landscape is beautiful and creates areas where residents can connect with nature—which contributes to their physical and mental well-being.

Finally, in addition to supporting our cause, all CFC members receive:

  • free admission to community education programs.  Note: Our next Community Education program-–“ Designing Your Native Plant Garden” is March 12th.
  • invitations to CFC events such as our 2022 Annual Meeting, which will be held virtually on Thursday, March 10th.
  • on-line CFC news updates
  • our quarterly newsletter
  • 10% discount at CFC’s Spring Native Plant Sale and our Fall Tree and Shrub Sale.  Online ordering for the Spring Sale begins March 1st.
