SPECIAL DAY OF SERVICE TO HELP NATURE

Monday 1/20/2020 at Spring Creek, 9:30 – noon

Volunteer for Nature with BGI & MLK Day of Service on MONDAY 1/20/2020. BGI volunteers will be cutting & burning buckthorn at the Spring Creek area from 9:30 – noon.(Directions below)  Think of the holiday as “a day on, not a day off” where you can make a difference.

MLK Day is the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities. Our BGI events demonstrate how groups can accomplish more by working together. Come join the fun, warm fires, and new friends. Tools provided. Dress for the weather.

Meet at the CFC Farmhouse at 9:00am  to carpool (459 IL Rt 22, Barrington) or at the Penny Rd. Pond Parking lot in South Barrington. (Penny Rd. between Healy Rd. and Old Sutton Rd.)
