CFC’s 55th Annual Meeting on Thursday, March 12, 2026.
“Plant the seed. Grow the future.“
We are honored to welcome an extraordinary keynote speaker, Bill Quackenbush, Tribal Historic Preservation Officer for the Ho-Chunk Nation. Bill brings a powerful and deeply rooted perspective on the enduring relationship between people, land, and water. Drawing on Indigenous knowledge systems and generations of stewardship, he will share how the Ho-Chunk Nation’s cultural traditions, values, and lived experience continue to guide the care of natural places today. His insights remind us that conservation is fundamentally a responsibility grounded in respect, reciprocity, and connection—offering enduring lessons for how we steward our shared landscape into the future.
6:00-7:00 PM – Social gathering with appetizers and cash bar. Connect with fellow conservation supporters, board members, and staff—share stories, catch up, and enjoy time in community before the program begins.
7:00-8:30 PM – Annual business meeting and keynote address by Bill Quackenbush, offering an inspiring perspective on stewardship, connection, and our shared future.
We’re happy to return to Wild Onion Brewery, a longtime favorite where good food, local craft beer, and easy conversation create the perfect setting for a CFC gathering.
