Join us for the next event in our BGI Explore and Restore series – sedge planting at Cuba Marsh. All ages and levels of experience are welcome. Plant side-by-side with experienced volunteer stewards and staff from Citizens for Conservation, Audubon Great Lakes, Friends of the Forest Preserves, Forest Preserves of Cook County, and Lake County Forest Preserves. Meet in the main parking lot at the Cuba Marsh Forest Preserve at 24205 W. Cuba Road in Deer Park. Wear shoes you won’t mind getting in the muck and bring work gloves and a trowel if you have them.
