Join us for the next event in our BGI Explore and Restore series – hiking at Penny Road Pond. All ages are welcome. Hike side-by-side with knowledgeable volunteer stewards and staff from Citizens for Conservation, Audubon Great Lakes, Friends of the Forest Preserves, Forest Preserves of Cook County, and Lake County Forest Preserves. Meet at the parking lot on the south side of Penny Road between Old Sutton and Healy Road in Barrington Hills. Wear sturdy shoes, long pants, mosquito repellant and bring water if it is a hot day.
