Join us for the last event in our 2018 BGI Explore and Restore series – brushcutting at Spring Lake. All ages are welcome. Work side-by-side with knowledgeable volunteer stewards and staff from Citizens for Conservation, Audubon Great Lakes, Friends of the Forest Preserves, Forest Preserves of Cook County, and Lake County Forest Preserves. Meet at CFC HQ to carpool to the site or meet at Spring Lake Nature Preserve at 348 Donlea Road in Barrington Hills. Dress for the weather. Wear sturdy shoes, long pants, and bring work gloves if you have them.
