50 FEST This is the keystone event for the entire community to gather to celebrate the 50-year Anniversary of CFC. This Big Tent Event will include fun for all and a beautiful day in nature. October 9th | 2pm - 6pm. More info and tickets HERE
BIRD WALK – Paul Douglas Preserve in Hoffman Estates
8:00 AM, Paul Douglas Preserve in Hoffman Estates, use Grassy Ridge Meadow Entrance on West Central Rd. (between Ela Rd and Freeman Rd). Park all the way to the end of the lot.
BIRD WALK – Galloping Hill
8:30 AM, Galloping Hill (park at Penny Road Pond parking lot in Barrington Hills Hikes at this site are somewhat more strenuous than others in this series.
BIRD WALK – Crabtree Nature Center
9:00 AM, Crabtree Nature Center (3 Stover Road off of Palatine Road)
