Please sign up for a volunteer shift at the plant sale April 30 to May 7

Spring is here –
and so is
Citizens for Conservation’s
Native Plant, Shrub & Tree Sale!

CFC’s annual Native Plant, Shrub and Tree Sale is May 5-6,
and we could use your help to:
  • Set up our sales site on the Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital campus, just across the road from CFC’s headquarters
  • Fill and double-check pre-sale orders
  • Assist customers
  • Help grow a key CFC event that encourages the planting of native species throughout the region
We have a week’s worth of opportunities:
  • Monday, April 30 – Thursday, May 3: We’ll receive deliveries, set up equipment, and assemble pre-sale plant orders. (9 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
  • Friday, May 4: We’ll assist customers picking up their pre-sale orders and CFC members who have come to shop. (7:45 a.m. – 6 p.m.)
  • Saturday, May 5-Sunday, May 6: We’ll assist customers with plant selections and sales. (7:45 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
  • Monday, May 7: We’ll return equipment and remaining plants to CFC headquarters. (9 a.m. – 1 p.m.)
Everyone is welcome!
Native plant knowledge is helpful, but not necessary, and new volunteers are warmly welcomed. If you’ve volunteered in the past, you know your efforts are important and appreciated. Whether you can devote a few hours or a few days, we truly hope to see you all!
Sign up and choose your shift at Signup Genius. If you love native plants and want to help, there’s a job for you at the sale.
Join in an event that changes the world, one plant, shrub or tree at a time!
